Possible Job On The Horizon

Got a call back regarding a resume I sent out. The job would be proofreading ads for an apartment finder publication. It's an entry-level position, which means it doesn't pay as well as my long lost tech writing job did, but it pays a hell of a lot better than the bookstore job I have currently. Plus, it's more in line with my skills and stuff. So I'm crossing fingers and knocking wood and inviting you all, gentle readers, to do the same.

In other news, my sister has a LiveJournal now. (She blames me for this.) Her lj-name is puppetmaker40. It's a sort of a prelude to her own website proper. Her husband has a weblog at his site (www.peterdavid.net) if you want to check that out, too.

I have to think of something to do besides taking a nap.
