So I bashed out 2000+ words on the novel today. If I keep going at this pace, I may actually make it in time. (I'm about a third of the way through my necessary wordcount, which is better than I thought I'd been doing.)
I could have even done more, but I paused in the middle of a particularly bizarre scene to go with the 'rents for an evening of radio theater as a benefit for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Two perky pieces and two creepy as fuck pieces.
Between the radio plays and the point I am in the novel, I'm going to have a hell of a time sleeping tonight, let me tell you.
Today I took pleasure in Rainy Day Tomato Soup at the Shakespeare Tavern, where the benefit show was held.
Today I learned that 2000 words tucked in between tasks at work is, in fact, possible.
