NaNo Day Two . . .
Nov. 2nd, 2006 08:59 pmStill keeping pace. Not pulling too far ahead, but so far I've got the 3334 or so words needed to not be falling behind. Once I reached the magic number, interestingly enough, I stopped and took the rest of the evening off. Partly so I wouldn't be making myself crazy, but mostly because I needed some time to let the ideas ferment since I'm still a bit hazy on the exact what-the-hell-is-supposed-to-happen part. I've got the big picture, but the details are still being discovered as I write.
I used the wonders of the internet to fill out web forms for three moving companies in order to get estimates for moving all my crap into the condo. I'm shooting for mid-November. We'll see. Just hope that moving won't disrupt things to the point that I can't get the novel done.
Today I took pleasure in seared tuna with bearnaise sauce.
Today I learned the ins and outs of asking for an estimate on three different moving companies' websites.
