NaNoWriMo Day One
Nov. 1st, 2006 09:19 pmWell, it's not off to the most spectacular of starts, but I did manage to bang out 1691 words (according to the word counting device on nanowrimo.org) so I've got my daily dose. Part of it I emailed to myself from work, the rest I hashed out this evening.
It's coming out a little clumsily, but it is at least coming. I'm still a bit vague about where exactly the hell it's going, but I do have something resembling an outline to fall back on.
The working title is Soft Places.
Today I took pleasure in a hot chicken sandwich at Melton's.
Today I learned how to NaNo from work without leaving any incriminating evidence on your computer. (Gmail is your friend.)
