So I did the second interview at the bookstore. Looks like they're planning on putting me in the processing position, which means I'd be unpacking and shelving books. The bad news is, I'll have to be getting up REALLY early to be there by 5:00 AM. The good news is, I'm only about ten minutes away from the store, so it doesn't have to be THAT early. Don't know if it's going to be a part time or full time position yet, but I'm at the point where I'll take anything.

I also finally heard from the Emory temp people this morning for a job today. They wanted me to answer phones for about four hours while an entire department went to a meeting. It was pretty low key. They let me surf on the office computer, and I only had to take a couple of messages. (To the guy with the heavy put-upon sigh when I told him I was only a temp and didn't have answers to his questions--get over yourself. You only had to wait until everybody got back.)

I want to get out of the house and do something, but I haven't decided what yet.
