The best times we never had!!

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

Ah, yes. I miss that dress. I still think of it fondly as the one that got away.

I remember the night we sat in the IHOP over on Peachtree Road drinking coffee and on a sugar high from chocolate chip pancakes, when who should walk through the door but John and Nick. We slipped down in the booth and tried not to be noticed as they sat directly behind us. I seem to remember the conversation going something like this:
N: I would know that car anywhere. They've got to be here.
J: *giggle* Oh I hope so. How do I look?
N: Stop primping and look around! And don't be obvious!
J: Obvious? Me? I'm not the one wearing the "I heart Cyanide Fish" tee shirt.
N: I made it myself. I sent her a matching one that says "I heart Nick" and some homemade brownies but I never heard from her.
J: Yeah well, be careful sending food. It was the cheese I sent psychegirl that prompted the restraining order.
N: Cheese?
J: Kraft slices. I read in Tigerbeat that she likes grilled cheese sanwiches.
N: ohhhhhkay. Speaking of restraining orders maybe you should wait in the car and try catch them leaving?

At that point we made a mad dash for the car. They followed, but we managed to lose them in the one way street maze that is downtown.

Those stalker fans are the scary ones! *shiver*

I was scared of those brownies. I gave them to my roommate. It never occurred to me to get a restraining order.

Well, once you smack the fish with the racket, they're too stunned to resist and you can just scoop 'em up. Easy.

Do you remember that time when we chatting in the now-closed Echo Lounge and we found that hidden room while we were trying to find a quieter place to talk in between sets? I still remember when we were curious digging through the posters and other swag and found that portal into Nick Rhodes' brain, just like that movie Being John Malkovich!

I remember being scared as I went first and when I did I was in his body while he was onstage, in Germany I believe. Luckily he's "One-Finger" Rhodes and I didn't have to do much to keep up with the music before I was thrust out of his head into Inman Park a few minutes later.

You know, come to think of it, you never told me what happened to you when you went through the portal. I just remember you giggling non-stop after I picked you up afteward in Inman Park and you told me you would tell me later and it just never came up again. What happened anyway?

I went somewhere private after the show and found out how many inches it really was.

It was impressive.

Wow, that is amazing! Not entirely surprising, but amazing nonetheless!
