wonderbinkSo I cleared my desk of all the accumulated files and other crap and worked so busily they let me go home early. This gave me time to go home, clean up, write and mail my first mortgage and condo fee checks, pick up my prescriptions, sign up for dial-up internet service and oh, yeah, pack. All this before dinner, even.
After dinner, I went up to the hotel where they're holding WriterCon so I could meet up with the legendary![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
crevette for a couple of drinks at the hotel bar. Had a lovely time--she's as good a storyteller in person as she is in her LJ. (In some ways, even better, because you get the benefit of facial expressions and occasional hand gestures.)
Must go to bed now, since we're up bright and early for the drive down to Fla-dee-da. Dial-up should be established by then, so I may be able to update during the week. I may not have a hell of a lot to write about, but when has that ever stopped people from posting in their LJ?
