I am so repainting, because peach and mint are not my colors. I want to find a color for the living room that will harmonize with my Nagel. After painting comes the exodus of boxes and then the heavy lifting of furniture. Which means I should be in there properly by about August. (I'm going to wait until after the beach trip before the major move.)

I'm still in a bit of a state of non-belief about it all. I thought I'd believe it when I signed the papers. Then I figured I'd believe it when I got the keys. Well, I've signed the papers, I have the keys and I still don't believe it. I'm thinking I'm not going to believe it until my bed is there and I'm sleeping in it.

Or, as azewewish would put it, when my toothbrush is there.

Today I took pleasure in a waffle for breakfast.

Today I learned where the basement storage for the condo is.

I know I'm getting old, because my Imaginary Boyfriends are being culled from new categories. Along with the usual assortment of novelists and poets (living and dead), living and read rock stars, gay people on Bravo (Kyan Douglas! Daniel Vosovic! *hearts* and *le swoon*), straight men who dress like ladies (need I elaborate?) and so on, I now have a list of Home Improvement Imaginary Boyfriends. Carter Oosterhouse (how d'yer spell that, anyway?). Evan Farmer. He hs a voice like a cartoon character, but he wields a mighty staple gun. W00t.

I miss out when I decide I need a TV holiday. In fact,it's time to see if any of my Gay Bravo Imaginary Boyfriends or Home Improvement Hunks are on the telly at the moment. Ooh, fix mah hair! Aaah, regrout mah tub! Yew are so studleee! Mwah!

I get both, 'cos I've got a couple of gay men who are volunteering to consult on colors and help me repaint the place. No, really. (One of them--Angelo--even took me out to the prom back in high school, so he really WAS an Imaginary Boyfriend.)
