First Day of Unemployment

So. Went to the unemployment office, filed my claim, got all oriented, went home, had lunch and did laundry.

It doesn't seem like much, but never underestimate the power of clean laundry to improve one's sense of optimism about the future.

Today I took pleasure in putting clean sheets on the bed.

Today I learned that the orientation handbook on How To Be Unemployed is exactly the same as it was the last time I had to deal with this.
