wonderbink: The outline of a star surrounded by tiny (illegible) writing (choose)
It's amazing how much you can get done when you're utterly exhausted and don't want to do anything and you convince yourself to do just one little thing. And while you're up, do that other thing. And, hey, look, here's a thing to do.

And while getting the trash and recyclables out of the house and in the proper bins may not be a great human achievement, it's better than the sludgepuddle of nothing I was on the verge of sinking into.

And when I cleared the accumulated magazines and newspapers off of my table, I uncovered the notebook with my writing that I'd feared was lost for good. I go through all kinds of notebooks, but this one in particular had a number of hat tricks, poems and mobile Morning Pages that I rather wanted to keep. And, thankfully, they were recovered simply by clearing the clutter off of my table.

There's probably some symbolism there.

Today I took pleasure in the waxing moon with a misty white halo.

Today I learned it takes me about ten minutes to clean and de-stem a one-pound container of fresh strawberries. (Said strawberries are now in a bag in the freezer for smoothie purposes.)
