And now, some good news!

Okay, the interview today went well. So well that I start tomorrow, albeit on a sort of trial basis--they'll pay me through the temp agency while they get me up to speed and get a feel for how I fit in with them. If it works, I get a job. If it doesn't, I at least get experience that I can put on a resume when looking for other jobs.

Judging by some of the horror stories she let slip about temps they've dealt with before, I should be able to impress them just by being stable, reliable and sane. I think I can swing that.

So we'll see. Guess I'd better set an alarm and stuff.

Today I took pleasure in listening to "Good Day Sunshine" while driving through the pouring rain.

Today I learned a little about the law firm I'll be working for the next . . . um, however long it turns out to be.
