Back From the Con
Sep. 4th, 2007 09:52 pm. . . which meant I spent most of this evening catching up on internet stuff.
V. tired and off to bed early.
Will try to maybe go into more detail, but here are the highlights--
1. I didn't have to pay money for an alcoholic beverage the entire time.
2. John Hudgens gave me a preview copy of his film American Scary, which I have been itching to see ever since he first told me about it.
3. Cesar and Javier, who are 6' 5" twin brothers from Puerto Rico and amazingly great guys, have both offered to kick Mr. TBH's ass for me. I assured them it wouldn't be necessary, but it does feel good to know I have that.
4. I had a lot of fascinating conversations with really smart people.
5. I was free to babble about the stuff I do in Second Life and have people think it was pretty cool.
More later, mehopes.
Today I took pleasure in listening to Nick Drake at work.
Today I learned they changed the name of the plain cheese quesadilla at Moe's. I have no idea why.
