Hey Howdy

A few quick things.

The Arts and Sciences were absotively fabuloso last night. They had to play a short set because of how many bands were playing, but I had a grand time. I think they're playing a full set at Eddie's Attic next month, which I am so all over.

Mr. TBH loaned me the copy of A Scanner Darkly that he rented from Netflix. I watched it this afternoon. It kinda grew on me as it progressed--for a long stretch of the film I'm all "okay, drug addicts being paranoid, yeah, and?" and then this wicked one-two twist shows up and suddenly it's brilliant. I'm going to watch it one more time with the commentary track before I mail it off.

My Sunday nights have become Second Life nights, since I still can't play at home yet. Mr. TBH (yeah, he plays too) gave me some Lindens so I could buy fancy hair for my avatar.

That's about it for now.

Today I took pleasure in tenderloin steak for dinner and chocolate brownies for dessert.

Today I learned that you can't enter a region in Second Life if there are too many people already there.
