My battery choked and needed a jump start this morning. My dad dutifully trundled up to help. Considering I can't recall ever getting a new battery for the car and I've had this thing for at least five years, it's probably high time for a fresh battery. I'll be getting one in the AM tomorrow at a place about five miles down the road.

Had another stab at going to the gym. Treadmilled for twenty-odd minutes. Ignored the TV screens and just stared at the time and focused on my breathing. It was actually quite meditative. The ambient stereo is too loud for my iPod to drown out, so I have to put up with it. But the mix isn't too painful and I know better than to take a song I don't like as a personal affront. And there's always the breath to concentrate on.

I'm finding myself getting all stupid and limerent over a Certain Someone again. I should honestly know better, but my emotions don't always listen to me.

Today I took pleasure in a clear white moon in a mauve twilight sky.
