2005 is now closing . . .
Dec. 31st, 2005 09:11 pmSo if 2004 was the Year of the False Start (as I'd determined in my year-end review last year) then 2005 was the year of At Least Some Things Got Done. I completed a course of paralegal study and I bashed out a 50,000 draft of a novel. And I managed to avoid losing my job, which is actually pretty good for me.
I bought a book by Debbie Ford called The Best Year of Your Life. Here's hoping it takes.
I'm all glammed up and ready to go out and see A Fir-Ju Well play at the EARL.
Today I took pleasure in lobster bisque as made by my mom.
Today I learned that the guitar book I got for Christmas isn't particularly useful for the first eighty pages or so, unless you're actually interested in the complete history of the guitar.
