Sick thought of the day . . .
Oct. 2nd, 2005 10:35 amSo as we were walking upstairs to Canon Chapel, I looked at the sign that said "No food or drink beyond this point" and pondered if the wine and communion wafers that I knew were already upstairs counted. Of course, according to the Roman Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation, said wine and wafers are turned into the body and blood of Christ in the course of the Mass. So, I pondered further, does it count as a person?
This led to a vision of somebody bursting into a Catholic church and yelling "Tell everybody you know! Holy communion! IT'S PEOPLE!!!!"
I really, really hope that God has a sense of humor. 'Cos if He doesn't, I am so screwed.
