Philosophical Moment
Aug. 22nd, 2005 05:59 pmThe fundamentalist looks to the past and says: "Everything was perfect there."
The revolutionary looks to the future and says: "Everything will be perfect there."
The enlightened one looks at the present and says: "Everything is perfect here."
Today I took pleasure in a big, cheesy, gooey, tomato-laden, sour-cream-dipped quesadilla for lunch.
Today I learned I had just enough money left on my merch card to buy a copy of The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. Which inspired the above philosophical moment.
