Happy Independence Day!

Happy, um, Monday, for those of you outside the U.S. of A.

I went to the top of the Westin in downtown Atlanta with my older brother and his wife. Wine, cheese, fruit, decadent desserts, and a slowly rotating view of Atlanta including all the fireworks. Much fun.

We snuck out early to beat the crowds and I got home to see the Boston fireworks on TV. Much dazzlement. I was born just upstream from the spot where they shoot off the sparklies, apparently.

I'm going to bed now.
