I met the other partner and he quizzed me about my work history between college graduation and the paralegal certificate and I think I answered his questions to his satisfaction. As it turns out, the person I'm replacing is leaving sooner than they'd initially planned for, so I think the fact that I won't need a heck of a lot of training since I already know most of the basics is a definite point in my favor.
Apparently they'll be coming to a decision this evening and if I'm in, I'll get the call. (SEND POZZIES NAO PLZ!)
So yeah. Think I'll take the rest of the day off. ("Off" being a relative term, I suppose.)
Today I took pleasure in the massage setting on my showerhead coming to the rescue when my back mysteriously decided to seize up.
Today I learned about a rather weird incident that happened a couple of weeks ago at the firm I interviewed with. (It was framed as an interview question of sorts--what would you have done in that situation?)
