This time last year . . .

Kinda strange to look back over it. A lot can happen in a year, huh? It really does feel longer than a year, especially when I look at the surrounding entries. The job at the nursing school I applied for didn't work out, the clothes I bought have come in handy (though I still have yet to wear that red and black lace dress somewhere) and my devotion to Paul Melançon remains unabated.
I took the cash I got from the parents for my birthday and bought DVDs with it. Got Sing Blue Silver (natch), Live Baby Live (INXS), a documentary on The Beatles' first trip to America and Volume 2 of the MST3K collections. I spent most of yesterday and today going through the MST3K and laughing my fool head off. Nothing like some sublime and utter goofiness to liven up your day.
I need to get another cord to hook the bass pedal to the amp. I also need to drop off the sack of Stuff To Get Rid Of at the nearest thrift shop. I also need to do the dishes, finish the story I've been working on and find a better job. Not necessarily in that order.
